Thank you for taking the time to visit the Youth web page. Youth ministry at Cornerstone is a vital part of our church body and fellowship. Youth are not “second class” citizens in the Kingdom of God and they’re not here either! Our youth program encourages, challenges, and leads today’s youth to get to know the risen Lord Jesus Christ, believe on Him for salvation, and follow Him by obeying His word!
Cornerstone Youth covers school age teens (pre-teens) from 6th to 12th grade. Worship for our Youth include praise music, prayer, studying the bible through both (group discussion & lecture) style teaching, games with a biblical lesson behind them, and small group devotionals. We have several service projects, spiritual retreats, along with mission and evangelistic outreach events throughout the year.
Like adults, Youth are encouraged to pray, play, and serve together. Along with that comes the heartbeat behind Cornerstone Youth (discipleship). Parents are appointed by God to be the primary Godly influence in their children’s lives. Cornerstone doesn’t want your job, we want to help equip you for the tasks / people the Lord Jesus has placed in your care. (Involvement) & (Equipping) are the principle functions of the Cornerstone Youth program as we walk alongside entire families in an effort to echo their biblical leading.
